Do you know what orange is?
Orange is the autumn when leaves blaze the sky.
Orange is a pumpkin that’s winking his eye.
Orange is the sun as it sets in the west.
Orange is the carrot that all rabbits like best.
Orange is the juice that will keep you quite hale.
But orange is never, no never, a whale!
Wait! Why not?
If that’s what the design
needs, then let’s make some orange whales.

Story of Arachne, The Weaver
A mortal Lydian woman named Arachne, which means spider in Greek, was a very talented weaver. She bragged that she was a more skillful weaver than the Greek Goddess, Athena. This made Athena very mad so she challenged Arachne to a weaving duel. Arachne’s weaving was clearly better and Athena became even angrier. To punish Arachne, Athena turned her into a spider.
